MTN TV is a TV service provided via IP. Meaning, instead of receiving TV programs as broadcasted aerial signals that reach your home TV through a rooftop antenna or satellite dish, they are received over your Internet connection through the provided MTN TV Set-Top-Box.
All you need to have is an active MTN at Home subscription (some technical restrictions may apply). Visit one of the MTN Stores or call the MTN Customer Care Center at 136 for more information.
Yes, you can. MTN TV subscribers are able to watch live TV on their tablet or smartphone devices right away after they subscribe, without any of the extra costs usually associated with this. Simply visit your smartphone’s or tablet’s respective app store (Google Play or the App Store), search for ‘MTV TV Go’, download the app and use the same login credentials of your MTN TV account.
This is not currently available although it is planned for the future.
Yes, on up to two concurrent devices. So for example on the MTN TV Set-Top-Box and a tablet, or on a tablet and smartphone, or on two tablets, etc. This enables family members to have the freedom to watch any channel affecting other another viewer’s choice of channel.
Most of MTN TV’s international channels include Greek subtitles. Some even offer the ability to switch audio between Greek and English.
At this point in time, this is not supported.
The recommended option is to connect the MTN TV Set-Top-Box to your TV with an HDMI cable (provided). Alternatively, the MTN TV Set-Top-Box can also be connected to your TV with an RCA A/V cable (also provided). Of course in addition to that, the MTN TV Set-Top-Box needs to be always connected to the Internet with an Ethernet cable.
Due to licensing restrictions, not all features are available on all channels.
Please call the MTN support centre at 136 and request to have your password reset. You will then receive an SMS (sent to your account’s registered mobile number) containing your username and password.
The recordings are available for up to one month from the day they were recorded. They are then automatically deleted or you can manually delete the recordings which are no longer needed. You can achieve this either through your MTN TV Set-Top-Box or the TV Go mobile app.
Simply visit your device’s respective app store (Google Play or the App Store), search for ‘MTV TV Go’, download the app and use the same login credentials of your MTN TV account.
A user can have up to five (5) different devices registered to watch from and can only use two (2) concurrent streams (including the MTN TV Set-Top-Box).
